Same tools, different projects

Organizational Principles are universal and apply to everthing.

What you learn about organization in one field can be applied to others

Q: Why do we say that when we learn how to organize one thing, we learn to organize everything?

A: Because Organization Principles are the same.

As you can see, the same nine steps contain structures and methods.

FOR EXAMPLE:

1º MOTIVES: To establish motives, objectives, perspectives, and needs, we use storytelling techniques.

2º PROGRAM/BUSINESS DESCRIPTION: In business, instead of using programs, we use a business description that tells us what will happen in the order that it is intended to happen.

3º STRUCTURE: The organizational structure is where we classify the activities according to their type.

4º PLAN: This is the route of activities carried out by people at a specific time and place that will materialize the project.

5º GENERATING CONDITIONS: As there is a plan for activities, it is also for conditions. This project phase is related to the environment (tangible and Intangible) assets needed to achieve the goals.

6º PREOPERATION: This is the rehearsal phase where we can realize what is missing before materializing a project or business.

7º OPERATION: The materialization phase is when things come together under the desired conditions.

8º POST- OPERATION: If the project has a begging and end, such as an event, or a crisis, this phase is related to putting together all the activities and materials. If the project has no end, this phase is declared after the first operational cycle when the business starts making a solid structure.

9º LEARNINGS: Considering that every initiative is an opportunity to learn, after finishing a project or establishing a business, we need to learn about the things that worked and didn´t work as expected, the reasons, and understand the causes, so the next exercise or cycle don´t repeat the same mistakes but other mistakes.

Try to move the nine steps among those things you have to get organized, no matter that you don´t know how to develop each phase. At this time, the important thing is to learn about giving a universal set of steps to any initiative in your life, understanding that what you learn about organizing in one place, you can take to another.

Once you understand this important way to connect your organizational knowledge through all types of situations, you can start learning the specific methods and techniques.
